Kingston Custom finished its third and final art-deco BMW motorcycle: the « Good Ghost ».

Good Ghost is the third Phantom motorcycle designed by Dirk Oehlerking, which was built in the Kingston Custom workshop in Gelsenkirchen. An evolution of the design of the previous two Phantoms he created, named White Phantom and Black Phantom, the Ghost was developed on the request of a famous custom motorcycle investor and collector, Bobby Haas.

Haas specified to create it in grey color sporting the matching design but generating more speed compared to its other siblings. Therefore, instead of basing the Good Ghost on the BMW R80 (as was the case with the previous two Phantoms), he employed the 1980 BMW R100 RS and kept most of its chassis.

The Good Ghost is a marvel to look at, so imagine how much work has gone into its remarkable design. Dirk initiated by creating a structure with wire and tape and then hand-shaped it. He made his own fuel cell, placed the carbs inside the fairing, and installed K&N filters, custom intake manifolds, and stainless steel exhaust.

Up top is a tailored leather saddle, with upholstery covering the whole front, including a bespoke ‘dash.’ Flip it up to find a leather-lined cubbyhole to store a bottle of wine and a glass.

The Good Ghost will be a part of the Haas collection. Dirk says, “when you ride it, it feels like you are in a different time,” and he aspires to ride it at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, as well.

The Blastolene B-702 Is An Exceptional Handmade Roadster

Designed and created by Blastolene Brothers, the Blastolene B-702 is a 19.5 feet long and 94 inches wide handmade roadster enthused by French cars of the 1930s. Michael Leeds and Randy Grubb used a nickel-plated chassis to construct this huge machine.

Under the hood of the Blastolene B-702 is an 11.0L GM V12 petrol engine, also famous by the name “Twin-Six”. General Motors created it for its mid-size trucks six decades back. The engine pumps out a huge 650 pounds-feet of torque at just 850 rpm.

“Although the design is obviously European, the B-702 claims to be uniquely American,” mentioned Randy Grubb. “We borrowed the beautiful French curves and the classic essence of the Bugattis and Delahayes from the 1930s. We paired them with a gigantic 11L engine. This leads to the American version of these great classics. ”

The Blastolene B-702 appeared at numerous auto shows and impressed the crowd for its finest craftsmanship. The roadster was sold during 2015 Scottsdale auction for $550,000.

The One-Of-A-Kind, Stunning 1957 Chevy Motorcycle

The 11-foot-long, ravishing 1957 Chevy motorcycle created by French engineer “Lupo” is a complete masterpiece that had left motorcycle enthusiasts everywhere in awe. This standout Chevy bike presents some neat, distinctive features resembling the classic 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air. The gigantic tailfins strutting out the back, chrome rockets at the front, and vibrant exterior offer an offbeat yet highly aesthetic vibe. If you’re a Chevy fan, you’re bound to love this exciting mix between a car and a motorcycle.

The 1957 Chevy motorcycle is a spectacle to watch, but does it ride well too? The motorcycle’s builder, Lupo, from Toulouse, France explains that the motorcycle is “really safe and comfortable.” He spent 3,000 hours crafting this Harley bike specifically to pay tribute to the 1957 Chevy Bel Air. Lupo used a Harley Davidson EVO engine and built the rest of the bike himself. He plans to sell his creation during or after the SEMA.

Release The Kraken ! Amazing Concept Trike by Head Turner Customs

Beautifully built around tentacle-shaped seat and wheel bars, this incredible trike has a monster water cooled perkins 2 cylinder Diesel built from the generator unit off the side of a sleeper cad semi-truck.

Sam Turner from Head Turner Customs has already spent a year working on the concept, design and fab work. Still a work in progress, the Kraken Trike is to the point of test driving and will reach easily 50 mph when it will be complete.

It will cost you around 10 to 15k to grab one though.

1935 Mercedes-Benz 540K streamline roadster by Erdmann & Rossi.

Mercedes commissioned Erdmann & Rossi to produce a special show car for the 1935 Barcelona exhibition based upon their 500K. One of the visitors was King Ghazi of Iraq, who expressed his desire to buy the car and MB built another (540K) car powered by a Straight 8-cyl 5018cc supercharged (180hp) engine with a 4/5-speed manual transmission as a special order and the car was shipped to Iraq.

Unfortunately the reign of the young king was short-lived as he died in a car accident in 1939. The car survived the Gulf war and World War II, and was found in an underground storage facility in Baghdad, but finally ending up in Jordon. In 1986 under the instructions of King Hussein of Jordon the car was shipped to Germany for restoration.

In 2002, the car was believed to be back in Jordan but by 2008, the car was back in Germany and finally on display in the Technik Museum Speyer.

1930 Art Deco Henderson Streamliner

With such a unique combination of artful aesthetics and innovative features, The 1930 Henderson Custom motorcycle is already an icon. This timeless design blurs the lines between timeless art deco aesthetics and modern ﬂexibility. The vehicle is based on a K.J Henderson model dating back to 1930, as its name might suggest.

Owner Frank Westfall restored the motorbike to perfection, but he made a few additional modiﬁcations. As opposed to restoring the factory 2-tone ﬁnish, he decided to go for a more elegant monochromatic paint job, which he performed himself. One of the most striking features of this design is deﬁnitely the rounded front, as well as the wide seat and dashboard, almost reminiscent of a vintage automobile. The seat was clearly built with comfort in mind, and it is an entirely different concept when compared to many later motorcycle designs, which always aimed to slim things down. Because of its unusual shape, at least by today’s standard, some might think that this motorcycle is a bit intimidating to ride. However, the learning curve is not as steep as you might imagine, and the pay off is a fantastic experience. There is quite nothing like this motorcycle out there!

Steampunk Style Trike Inspired By “Joseph Stalin” Locomotive

Asook Customs, a custom shop in Saint-Petersburg built this steampunk style trike inspired by “Joseph Stalin” locomotive.

As stunning of a piece of design as this is, it might be better described as a rolling sculpture than an actual trike or motorcycle because it’s not a runner.
