Creating art from repurposed metal materials requires a lot patience and skills, the dutch artist Jos Hammer has no lack of them. He passionately makes all kinds of animals from motorbike parts that he collects and assembles to give them the desired shape: eagle, owl, octopus, chameleon and many more…

Four years ago I made the blue eagle for the Kawasaki Museum in Holland, Jos Hammer told Steampunk Tendencies.

He regularly updates his Facebook and Instagram page with news and photos of his creations.

These Little Steampunk Gnomes Are So Adorable

The gnome is a small humanoid creature legendary in European folklore. It is characterized by its very small size, subterranean life, and great knowledge of telluric secrets. During the 19th century, the first garden gnomes arrived in England, where they became very popular.

Spotsylvania-based artist Amber McGill creates these amazing gnomes from cotton fabric, filled with poly pellets and fiber fill, then decorate them with trinkets.

Artists Creates Floating Worlds In Test Tubes

They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and the floating test tube art that Dutch artist Rosa de Jong creates is both amazing and truly beautiful.

de Jong’s miniature sculptures suspended in a test tube is a new and unique take on those old tired ships in a bottle that were once so popular. de Jong creates her art from object finds in the great out of doors using objects such as sticks her cat brings her, to rocks from campsites on Curacao and even sand from the Monument valley. One of the things that makes her art work unique is the way de Jong uses suspension to make it appear as though her tiny sculptures appear to float in the air.

Each of de Jong’s creations are finely detailed and takes less than a day to complete. According to de Jong none of her artwork is planned in advance she just starts to put it together and see where it goes. So far her her test tube creations has included such miniature sculptures as trees, tiny houses, tents and even water towers. Here miniatures look so realistic many people wish they could live in the worlds that she creates.

Rosa de Jongs test tube creations are part of a series she is creating called Micro Matter. She is also in the process of setting up a web-shop where individuals may soon be able to purchase one of these miniatures to display and enjoy in their own home.

Spectacular Robotic Cardboard Sculptures with fully articulated parts and Working Motors

Greg Olijnyk , a 2D graphic designer, creates incredible detailled cardboard sculptures in his spare time using packaging-grade cardboard and tracing paper.

In some of his works, the designer goes further by adding solar panels and small motors to activate various parts.

It Took Over 15 Months To Create this Stunning Ghostly Pirate Ship

“Leviathan – Ark of the Apocalypse,” is the name of this astonishing pirate ship. One of the most impressive sculpture Jason Stieva, tattoo and assemblage artist based in Whitby, has ever made.

I’ve always been intrigued by art and gothic architecture as far back as I can remember. Then I was introduced to the country of Europe in 1997 I’d never flown before, but I went ahead and bought a one-way ticket and a train pass, and headed out on a solo mission. I was instantly hooked on the atmosphere, the people, the architecture, the art galleries, the churches, the graveyards, and the catacombs.

Russian Artist Creates Beautiful Steampunk Articulated Animals Sculptures

Igor Verny creates his articulated animals with moving parts of scrap metal from bike parts, watches and clocks, old cars, electronics…etc.

The Artist, who lives in Siberia, is directly inspired by the nature. He studies it by observing the natural movements of animals to model them.

The creatures are made to be fully articulated allowing them to be posed in all manner of realistic postures.

Artist Recycles Old Farm Equipment Into Spectacular Animal Sculptures

South Dakota sculptor John Lopez creates spectacular sculptures made of old farm equipment. His scrap creations reflect the legends and images of his prairie land.

One of Lopez’s latest creations is the « French Buffalo ». This life-size American Bison made with more than 100 pieces of recycled material, is the artist’s first work to be exhibited permanently in France, in the Parc animalier de Sainte Croix.

This Fantastical Dragon Bench Was Carved Using A Chainsaw

Estonian artist Igor Loskutow is an award winning master of chainsaw art and is part of the Husqvarna chainsaw sculpture team, which travels to events across Europe in order to show off their cutting skills

Luskutow won the Huskycup World Title for his dragon bench back in 2015.

This Luskutow’s incredible dragon bench, is a masterpiece of the art form.
